Folk In The Afternoon Photo Gallery
I've still not finished celebrating the end of Folk In The Afternoon yet...
I got photo-happy during the gig and have had to sift through 200-and-something pictures to select a few choice ones. I narrowed it down to 60, but here are my personal favourites.

End of an era
The final Folk In The Afternoon event at the Nook Cafe was a great success and a fitting end to the series of gigs. I've had a wonderful time hosting them throughout the year and hope to organise something similar in the near future.
Thanks to everyone who's been involved with the gigs or supported us in any way.
An extra special thanks goes out to Tamsyn and all at the Nook for letting us host the show there, and for all the tea :)
Here is a new song I debuted during my set today, 'Less Is More'

Folk Finale
Next Saturday (December 10th)!
I will be hosting the final Folk In The Afternoon event at The Nook Arts Cafe.
I've had a wonderful time hosting the series of gigs over the last 6 months and it's a shame it has to come to an end...(Northampton Council are demolishing the Fishmarket Gallery for a bus station leaving us venue-less)
We have a great lineup for the afternoon though, to ensure it'll go out with style!
Performing (confirmed so far) we have:
Jonny Tudor
Gregg Cave
Aisha Daisy
Violet's Gone
Kings Gambit
Starts at 2, finishes around 5.
Get yerself down there and have some tea, cake and some folk awesomeness.

Bootlace Bootlegs
So, it's the start of the holiday season...
Jimtom Say has started off December on his website by sharing a couple of lo-fi rehearsal recordings we made back in the summer. Hopefully we'll get back out there and do some more performances, as some of the gigs we had this summer have by far been my favourite musical experiences.

**Notes on these recordings
I can't be sure exactly when this was recorded, probably around late July 2011, in the upstairs room of the Northampton Labour Club. It was recorded to a c90 cassette that had something on it before, and was recorded via a single stereo mic located on the floor in the back corner of the room, immediately behind Jimtom.
Jimtom Keith Thomas James - Voice, lyrics, bohran
Chris Pepper - Bass guitar
Steve Hunter - Electirc guitar
Mike Goff - Acoustic guitar, backing vocals
Chris 'Steve' Fordham - Drums

May Song
A new and original song from Northamptonshire folk group Kismet Hardy that I recently recorded and mixed. This one's my favourite from the five we did together.
